Prioritizing students' social and emotional wellness is as important as the academic curriculum that is taught. Through the inclusion of Mindfulness, Responsive Classroom, Peer Mediation, Restorative Justice, and grade level sessions led by a dedicated counselor, YCDS is taking part in conversations to address social and emotional skills.
